Every year, the United Nations Women's Guild in Geneva, in collaboration with the Diplomatic Missions accredited to the United Nations, organizes an International Bazaar to raise funds for children in need around the world. Over the years, the Bazaar has become the premier event in the international community. In 2008 the UNWG Bazaar attracted more than 6000 visitors and raised more than 300 000 CHF. The UNWG awarded these funds to 52 children's projects in 42 different countries to assist in areas of health, education, nutrition and vocational training.

Missions Stalls

At the Bazaar, one will find a myriad of national booths and restaurant stalls at which native crafts and foods are sold. Our restaurant stalls are considered an international gourmet center where visitors can try many specialties from all over the world and prepared by the ladies of the missions. Each year about 70 missions are supporting and participating in the Bazaar.
